Praying Together

Who we are

Our tradition is rich with progressive Christian values, rooted in Jesus' teachings of peace, love, justice, and equality. We believe that our faith is demonstrated by our actions, especially towards the care of the oppressed, disenfranchised, poor, and unwell. We are a building a community that worships God by demonstrating our faith every day through loving our neighbors.

We are catholic, but not Roman; orthodox, but not eastern; episcopal, but not Anglican; evangelistic but not evangelical. Our faith is for believers and skeptics alike, as a refuge for those disaffected by mainstream traditions.

As a progressive part of the one holy, catholic and apostolic church, we are welcoming of all who seek God's love.  We gather together to worship God and share God’s love in our lives, and to feast on our bountiful blessings through a Eucharistic meal.

No matter your personal or faith story, your questions or your hope, all are welcome.

We are Christ Centered

"...for God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."         John 3:17

We believe that Jesus is the Christ and the Savior of the world. We believe that Jesus loves us all unconditionally and through His death and resurrection, we are brought to new life.

We are inclusive

"So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."   Galatians 3:26-28

We believe that the love and grace of Christ is greater than we can fathom.  As such, we believe that the sacraments of the Church are open to ALL baptized Christians, regardless of background, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. In Christ Communion, you are accepted and loved, because Christ loved us and gave His life for us.

We are historic...yet progressive.

"Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”           John 20:21

With unbroken lines of apostolic succession, we profess the orthodox faith of the Early and Undivided Church.  As part of the one holy, apostolic and catholic church, our worship is sacramental and liturgical... but also progressive and charismatic.  We value the beauty of tradition as well as the freshness of contemporary worship.
